Progestrone’s Effect On Your Bones!

In 1990, a physician from the great state of California, Dr. John R. Lee, conducted a three-year study with 100 post-menopausal patients aged 40 – 80. He did this because he wanted a wide range of ages.

Dr. Lee noted that 63 of his study’s participants, who had REGULAR progesterone, had an increase of bone mineralization by 15.4 percent.

From this study, Dr. Lee concluded that by using transdermal bioidentical progesterone, the osteoporatic rate upon which bones demineralize can be delayed. (In other words, you can delay osteoporosis naturally, without any side effects if you use transdermal bioidentical progesterone regularly at home).

That same year, Dr. Jeri Lynn Prior at the University of British Columbia found that progesterone aided in the formation and maintenance of bones, as it was able to speed growth and healing rates. (I haven’t found a woman yet that doesn’t want to speed her growth rate and healing rates of her bones).

Five years later, the PEPI trials (Postmenopausal Estrogen Progestin Interventions), one of the largest studies to have ever been conducted on progesterone, tracked 875 women, aged 45 to 64 for approximately three years.

The researchers of this major study concluded that bioidentical estrogen, combined with bioidentical progesterone, had the most effect on raising HDL (“good” cholesterol) without producing the pre-cancerous uterine effects that synthetic forms of estrogen and progesterone tend to bring about.

The PEPI trials clearly demonstrated that natural progesterone works better than progestin (synthetic progesterone) in protecting the Heart and Uterus. (These bioidentical hormones are available now. Just talk to the receptionist about ordering them today).
